Haben im Tea Horse GH am Abend unsres ersten Tages während einer 2tägigen Wanderung durch die Tigersprungschlucht übernachtet. Die Zimmer sind recht einfach gehalten, aber sauber. Gemeinschaftsduschen und die üblichen "Loch"-Toiletten in einer kleinen offenen Hütte mit einer wunderbaren Aussicht über die Schlucht. Die fehlende Heizung und der fehlende Komfort werden durch die frische Luft und die tolle Aussicht wieder wettgemacht. Warmes Wasser wird dort mittels Solaranlage erzeugt. Duschen zu späterer Stunde könnte also eine kalte Angelegenheit werden. Toll fand ich: - die Lage - den offenen Innenhof - die Preise - das Essen - die Atmosphäre

要来到这里似乎要沿着虎跳峡走好远,我们是从中午开始走的,想来这里过夜。到了这里后一定要喝姜茶啊!浴室不是很干净,但还能接受,大概和你预期的差不多吧。东西很好吃,不过我们觉得有些过于西式。遗憾的是他们晚餐多收我们钱了,还不给退,其实只是21元而已,可是仍旧觉得不自在。风景很美,而且他们刚刚开业了spa,提供几种不同式样的按摩。爬山累了后会很舒服。

The GH is located directly on the TLG trek. I must admit I didn't expect such a nice accommodation. The GH is lovely wooden house build around a yard. The rooms are clean with soft bed with electric blanket. The sheets were spotless. The bathroom is decent with hot shower - there is soap, shampoo and toilet paper as well as clean towel, so you can travel light. There is also TV (Chinese channels only) and kettle in the room. Try to get a room on the second floor - there are comfy sofas in front of the room with great views of the mountains. We spent couple of hours just sitting there, reading our books and admiring the views. The food was good and cheap. They also offer massage for decent prices (60 mins foot massage for 45 RMB). The only 'complaint' I would have is that there is no real dining room. So your food is served outside in the yard - there is also roofed part in case of rain but it doesn't protect you from the cold. In case it's really cold, you can sit at a small table in the kitchen (there is only one). We paid for the double room 130 RMB.

After 28 bends you'll probably be wanting to stop for some rest and food. Tea Horse is conveniently located about an hour from the top of the 28 bends. Many of the people on the trail were continuing onto Halfway Lodge (another 1-2 hours further) but we decided to stop at Tea Horse because it was getting on and we were tired. We found that the most picaresque part of the gorge was after Tea Horse so it's worth considering staying here just so you can enjoy the scenery in a fresher state of mind. From Halfway Lodge it's only another 2-3 hours to Tina's. The bus to Lijjiang leaves Tina's at 10AM and 4PM so there is still plenty of time to catch the 4PM bus if you stay at Tea Horse and leave by midday. We found that most of the people who stayed at Halfway Lodge ended up having to hang around Tina's for most of the afternoon anyway. The rooms at Tea Horse were fine given the location of the lodge at Y120 for a double ensuite or Y60 for a double with shared bathroom. The bathroom was a bit dirty but we had hot water and a comfortable bed. The food they serve at the restaurant is reasonable and pretty tasty. They also sell water and beer for a reasonable price. The views and sunset were fantastic - we'd defnitely recommend considering a night here.

Takes 3-5 hours to hike from Qiaotou to Tea Horse Guest House. This was perfect for us starting at around noon and wanting to relax in a beautiful setting in the evening. We were hiking in low season and were the only guests so had the place to ourselves and thus especially peaceful. Amazing views from the porch outside room and from outside tables where you can dine. Food was well prepared and very reasonably priced. Also indulged in foot massages which were excellent! All and all a great stay and highly recommended.
